What utensils you'll need:
Pan
Wooden Stirring Spoon / Ladle
Knife
Using our Curry Kit (45 mins Cook Time)
Peel, wash and dice the Potato no larger than 2cm (Tip: Smaller the potato cubes the quicker they will cook).
If adding Garlic wash and dice finely.
Add Ghee to the pan and melt on a low heat.
Next add the Onions, Ginger, Green Chilli, Cumin and Garlic. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown – approximately 10 minutes. Occasionally stir to prevent onions sticking.
Add the Tomatoes and Turmeric. Stir and leave to simmer on a low heat for 2 minute.
Add the Spinach, diced Potato and Water, then stir thoroughly.
Place the lid on the pan and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the Salt and Garam Masala. Stir thoroughly. Place the lid on, switch the heat off and leave for 3 minutes.
Aloo Palak is ready! Serve with your side:
Rice: Place the rice in your plate and add the Aloo Palak on the side.
Chapatti/Naan: Place the Aloo Palak in a bowl and scoop using a piece of chapatti/naan.
Using your own ingredients (1 hr 30 min Cook Time)
If adding Garlic dice finely.
